Question:
If I cut down top and bottom, are the holes the same for compact as classic? I use compact planner but would love to have this for more detailed planning, instead of cutting up legal size pads and punching holes to make it fit.

Answer:
Hello. No the holes would not line up by doing that. The hole configurations for Classic and Compact are completely different. While this option may not work, the Leadership Portfolio Notepads or Swing Pad Refills would work. We also have many Compact options in our Blank and Lined Pages category. You can click on Compact on the left hand side to see all available options.

Are there note pages that can be inserted into the wire bound dated pages as needed?

Answer:
Hello. No there are not since it's a wire-bound product and cannot have pages added. We recommend using the notepad of your choice and inserting it in the notebook slot that most of our wire-bound covers have.
