My blue pen stopped working mechanically. when twisted it will not come out to write with. I switched the refill with a black one and it still did not work. Is the part of the mechanical lifetime guarantee? How do I submit it?

How do I load a .9 lead into my Greenwich Pencil? Top or bottom?

Answer:
Hello. Here are the instructions to load new lead: the pencil must be cleared of old lead before inserting the new lead. Turn cap clockwise until all unused lead is expelled from pencil. Gently turn the cap counterclockwise until it stops. Remove the cap by pulling it from the barrel. Leads are stored under the eraser holder. Pull eraser and eraser holder from barrel. Select a lead. Replace the eraser and cap. Insert the lead into the pencil point until it stops. Turn clockwise until the lead extends 1/8". Press the lead gently against a firm surface so the lead is gripped by the pencil mechanism.
