Question:
Will this accommodate a HP laptop? I would also like to be able to carry files file folders as well, in a separate compartment, if possible.

Answer:
Hello. No it will not hold a laptop (not sure the size of the HP laptop you are referring to), but it's only 12" wide, which most laptops are wider than that. I'm also not sure you would be able to fit many file folders in the bag at all.

Hello. No I don't think it will. Given it's only 3" wide, the planner with binder would take up almost the entire bag.

Really ? Buttons to close a purse/tote? The Brooklyn????? Needs adjustable strap for shorter people. Colors? I see only Black how dull, Get rid of the flap an buttons and put an extra pocket on the outside back and put it ins some fun colors like Red or Purple or Pink or lavender, or royal blue.I am retired now but have used a Franklin Planner System for over 30 years. You have some great new modern binders but this is NOT one of them.

Hello. So the actual bag has a zipper top to close it. The button flap just has a small, hidden zipper pocket. We used to sell many different colors (including many you mentioned and other colors), but they sold out. You can see more of the features in the video link provided on the product page. This bag is designed by one of our partners, Ogio, not FranklinPlanner and is not intended to be a binder for your system.

The flap conceals an outside zipper compartment. There is a zipper across the top of the bag. There is a center zippered, padded compartment which divides the inside.
